Premier grade fully rounded large Scottish cobbles. Especially suited to accentuate dry gravel and water features in contemporary and Japanese style gardens. These cobbles can also be used to fill gabion baskets.

Our most popular size of premium quality fully rounded large washed Scottish granite cobbles. Fish friendly, suitable for water features, Japanese garden design and our clients have found these to be an idea size for filling wire mesh gabion baskets.

We recently had an enquiry from a school looking to establish the number of cobbles to the tonne in order to set out a labyrinth - our best estimate is approximately 850 - the cobbles weighing between 1 to 1.2 kg each.

The Pebbles are light grey when dry but turn to a warm pink /grey hue when wet

These pebbles originate from an unusual beach deposit, which is in fact several miles inland, the tide having gone out at the end of the last Ice Age ! The deposit is fully licensed and operated within current environmental parameters.

This product option is supplied packed in safe and easy to handle weatherproof packs stacked on a wooden pallet. Packs are stretch wrapped onto the pallet for added protection and security.

Pallets are delivered by national couriers and off-loaded onto a level hard-standing using vehicle tail-lift and pallet truck. Our couriers do not offer a crane (Hiab) off-load facility.

Pallet deliveries by national couriers are not advised for locations with narrow or difficult access. Please advise during checkout or contact our office for advice if you have specific delivery requirements or concerns.

Failed deliveries due to problems with access which as not been pre-notified will be returned to our warehouse and charged for both outward and return delivery,

The immediate product wrapping, pallet stretch wrap and wooden pallet can all be recycled.
