Concrete Desert Sand: A professional medium/fine sand for product promotion and merchandising.

Imaging and Film Assignments:
Offers a neutral light grey, low reflectance matt colour with a narrow tonal range for TV assignments and product photo shoots. The sand has good supporting characteristics for merchandise shots, and for staging will mound up to 40 degrees.

To deepen the grey colour lightly spray the surface with water.

The sand has been washed and kiln dried ensuring that it is clean and doesn't stain clothes or other props.
Being colourfast the sand can be used under water, we would recommend rinsing before use, however, if introduced direct into water some clouding may occur which may take overnight to clear.

Take care that the sand doesn't enter into equipment.

Merchandise Production:
Natural clean kiln dried sand for layering in glass ware, for use with candles, and urban merchandise.

Window Dressing:
The sand of choice for Urban Chic window dressing. Mix 'n match with concrete, bold terracotta, steel and glass. The product will form natural drifts, is non static and easy to clear away.

Arts and Crafts:
Colourfast but may prove problematic to stick to creations.

What is Concrete Desert Sand?
Sand Grain Size: Similar to table salt / granulated sugar. Sand size: 0.1-0.7mm.

Concrete Desert Sand - ia a clean, reasonably dust free, washed, dried and graded sand sourced entirely from natural granite. This sand presents predominantly angular particle shapes within a range of tones from dark grey to off-white.

Colour & Form:
We take great care to provide accurate images, however, shade variations can occur both with the products themselves and with ambient lighting.

It can also be difficult to adequately describe and visualise grain size, we do, however, show products in context with additional images.

For both colour and form please request a sample if these factors are critical to your application.

This product option is supplied packed in safe and easy to handle weatherproof packs stacked on a wooden pallet. Packs are stretch wrapped onto the pallet for added protection and security.

Pallets are delivered by national couriers and off-loaded onto a level hard-standing using vehicle tail-lift and pallet truck. Our couriers do not offer a crane (Hiab) off-load facility.

Pallet deliveries by national couriers are not advised for locations with narrow or difficult access. Please advise during checkout or contact our office for advice if you have specific delivery requirements or concerns.

Failed deliveries due to problems with access which as not been pre-notified will be returned to our warehouse and charged for both outward and return delivery,

The immediate product wrapping, pallet stretch wrap and wooden pallet can all be recycled.
