UK Sourced natural cockle shell, cream / light brown in colour. Suitable for paths in private gardens, golf courses and heritage properties. Our clients have used these shells in conjunction with crushed scallop and cockle to create seaside gardens.

Shells have been washed and allowed to naturally weather no artificial cleaning has been carried out. A sample of shells will contain some broken pieces.

These shells will be supplied with a natural moisture content which may make them unsuitable for interior decor.

Innovative Use: These shells have been specified and successfully used as a sub-strate for "green roofs". For structural calculations one cubic metre of cockle shell is likely to weigh approximately 600kg. (i.e. 60 x10kg packs)

This product option is supplied packed in safe and easy to handle weatherproof packs stacked on a wooden pallet. Packs are stretch wrapped onto the pallet for added protection and security.

Pallets are delivered by national couriers and off-loaded onto a level hard-standing using vehicle tail-lift and pallet truck. Our couriers do not offer a crane (Hiab) off-load facility.

Pallet deliveries by national couriers are not advised for locations with narrow or difficult access. Please advise during checkout or contact our office for advice if you have specific delivery requirements or concerns.

Failed deliveries due to problems with access which as not been pre-notified will be returned to our warehouse and charged for both outward and return delivery,

The immediate product wrapping, pallet stretch wrap and wooden pallet can all be recycled.
